Thakoon Fall 2011 delighted me with a bright and rich color palette. Blue and red paired is one of my favorites and his juxtaposition is perfect.
Although I have a slight aversion to plaid, residual only from being forced to wear the ugliest plaid on the planet in Catholic grade school days, I love his version of Maasai plaid with big blue and red checks. It also made me think of my friend

Another "Wow!" were the tall leather boots with a suede panel nicely placed at the ankle which gives them a touch of slouch. And the red velvet booties!!
