if you knew me, you would think that i orchestrated this collide. i am Diesel and Adidas all the way- day after day, to the bone. so you can imagine my excitement...

i was excited at their jeans collab, though i have yet to land a pair...but sneakers? even better!!

i think i like the Stan Smith 80s Diesel in Brown Leather, of course.

the Forum midDiesel LEA is quite nice as well...though i would like to see it in white w/silver detail.

it really is beyond me how my two favorite go-to fashion entities have combined forces.

I would like to see the heart just a tad bit bigger and more sparkly, more in the style of Markus Lupfer. As this shirt is no longer offered in my size, I may just have to amend one of my striped boatneck tees with a big and sparkly red heart.

Get me to the Greek in a Green Velvet Jacket

I finally caught Get Him to the Greek which lived up to its expectations of being spot on slapstick. Aldous Snow's wardrobe was very English rocker, in mockery of course and I could not help but notice the Green Velvet Jacket he was wearing in the Today Show performance scene. It reminded me of my mothers Green Velvet Jacket that my brother and I used to play dress up in, we called it the Pirate Coat.

I was also reminded that I had been searching for one, without much luck, for years. This led me to check all of my usual sites, plus some unsuspecting ones for a Green Velvet Jacket. I could not find one that met up to my expectations. asos.com, ssense.com, 80spurple.com and shopstyle.com, to name a few, all came up blank. I will hit the Thrift Stores on Haight Street in San Francisco next week and see what i come up with.

If I ever had a clothing label it would be to design and make all of the coveted wardrobe items that I have not been able to find over the years.
